Flashback Transaction Backout using the Database Control
Flashback Transaction Backout is about backout of transaction(s) as well as dependant "child" transactions. Flashback Transaction Backout is built on top of the somewhat cumbersome logminer. You can use the GUI Database Control for it as well as the command line. We use here the Database Control
STEP 1 : On the availability page we click on "View and Manage Transactions"
STEP 2 : On the next page we specify the timestamp range and optional we filter for transactions related to a specific schema, to a specific schema object. Note the word LOGMINER. Flashback Transaction Backout is built on top of logminer technology.
STEP 3 : The next page lists us the transactions
STEP 4 : The next page lists us the transactions ( step by step )
STEP 5 : Obviously we need to confirm the flashback operation
